How do I find my correct size?

Finding your perfect fit is simple! Because our shirts are uniquely repurposed from thrifted men's button-down shirts, traditional dress sizes don't always apply.

The most accurate way to find your size is by using our Pit-to-Pit Guide.

What does "pit-to-pit" measurement mean and how do I measure myself?

A pit-to-pit measurement is taken by laying a garment completely flat and measuring straight across the chest from the bottom of one armhole seam to the other.

To find your perfect size, follow these easy steps:

  • Grab a favorite shirt: Choose a button-down shirt from your closet that already fits you exactly the way you like.
  • Lay it flat: Button the shirt completely and lay it down flat on a hard surface.
  • Measure straight across: Use a measuring tape to measure from underarm to underarm (pit-to-pit).
  • Compare the guide: Match that number to our Pit-to-Pit Guide to see which size will give you that same look! 

Are shirts true to size or is it more of an oversized fit and look?

Because our pieces are reworked from thrifted men's button-down shirts, they generally feature a slightly oversized, relaxed fit depending on the size you choose. If you prefer a closer, more tailored look, consider sizing down. We highly recommend checking the flat measurements on our Pit-to-Pit Guide, and comparing them to the chest measurement on each product page, to find your perfect fit. 

Customization

Can I add a custom monogram to my order?

Absolutely! You can personalize your Punky by adding custom monogramming.

Do you offer custom patches to add to shirts?

Yes, we do! You can customize your shirt with a variety of patches sewn directly on the product page. Simply tell us what you are looking for and select your preferred placement (such as the chest, sleeve, or back) before adding the shirt to your cart.

How much time does a customized order take to ship?

For any item that requires customization (such as monograms, patches, or sleeve alterations), please allow up to 3 weeks  for us to process and handcraft your order before it ships out. We appreciate your patience as we carefully customize your one-of-a-kind piece!

Product & Materials

What material are your shirts made of?

The majority of our shirts are 100% cotton. Because each piece is one-of-a-kind, the fabric composition can vary. You can find the specific material breakdown for any individual shirt listed directly in its product description.

How should I wash & care for my Punky?

To keep your signature ruffle collar looking its best, we recommend washing your Punky on a delicate or gentle cycle in cold water. For drying, you can either tumble dry on a low/fluff air setting or hang dry.

Because each piece is "one-of-a-kind" will my item look exactly like the photos?

Not exactly. Because each piece is uniquely made, your physical shirt will have its own individual character. For the most accurate representation of the material, color, and pattern, please refer to the fabric swatch photos on the product page, which show a detailed, close-up view of the actual textile.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

Our shipping times depend entirely on the type of shirt you choose:

Punky Now (Ready to Ship): If you select "Punky Now" without personalizing your Punky, it will ship out the very next business day.

Customized or "Soon-to-Be" Punky: If you pick a "Soon-to-Be" Punky, choose to personalize your Punky, including Tribute Punky's, processing times will vary based on the requests. Orders featuring custom patches can take up to 3 weeks to handcraft.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes, we do! We offer free local pickup right here in Dallas, TX. 

How do I track my order once it ships?

Once your order is on its way, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.
